Creating a Zap that connects Doopoll to Viable

You can easily analyze open ended responses from Doopoll surveys by connecting Doopoll to Viable. Viable will structure, tag, and analyze open ended survey responses automatically.

Pro tip! Set up your Doopoll Zap using a blank survey (before any responses have been submitted) so the fields map correctly.

Use our Doopoll Zap template or Click Make a Zap and follow the steps below.


Setting up the Trigger

  • Choose Doopoll as the trigger >> app event
  • Then choose New Responses as the trigger event

  • Click Continue and then sign into your Doopoll account
  • Under Set up trigger, select the survey you want to analyze. Click Continue.

  • Test your trigger


Setting up the Action

  • Select Viable as the Action app
  • Then select Ingest Datapoint as the action event

Continue to sign into Viable. You’ll need your Viable API key (in Viable it’s in Admin >> Integrations tab).

Under Set up action choose the field you want to analyze. In this case, Comment is the field that will contain open ended survey responses you’ll want to analyze in your Doopoll surveys:

  • For Text, choose Question label (which provides the question along with each feedback entry in Viable for context during analysis) and the Question field (this will be the text Viable will analyze)
  • For Created at, choose Time submitted
  • For End user email, choose Respondent ID. Otherwise enter Anonymous.

  • Click Continue
  • Test the action

You should be ready to turn on the Zap.
